Description

Cygnus is well placed this time of year. The constellation holds several impressive deep sky objects.

One of the lesser known (and imaged) object is the emission nebula Sharpless 112 (Sh2-112). It is an emission nebula located about 5,600 light years away. The nebula is illuminated by a bright young hot star at its center.
